Feelings which I can’t put into words

There was this music playing in Emirates airline during my boarding time which awoke feelings in me that I can’t put into words.

When I was going to London, I had a connecting flight. One from my home city to Dubai & one from Dubai to London. I hadn’t flown before ever in my life. It was my first ever airplane experience. The first flight was at night which I found so scary. I had motion sickness in that.

The next flight from Dubai to London was in the early morning. I loved the view in daylight from the airplane’s window. This music called “Common Person” by Burna Road was playing. I had never heard it before. I googled it later when I came back. But it had such a calming effect on me. I knew that this was going to be a pleasant flight for me & it was.

The same music was playing when I was returning to my home city. When I heard it again, it made me emotional. Like in that moment, I knew I would miss this time. This whole experience of this roundtrip. Even this flight experience which was uncomfortable for me.

I was feeling so many emotions at that time and I am mostly good at articulating my feelings but honestly, right now I can’t describe what that music made me feel. I just know that this music would stay in my memories. It would always remind me of my first-ever international trip to London & my first-ever flight experience in Emirates airline.
